
It’s the last day of 2010, I’d like to wish all TechChee readers a very Happy New Year 2011 and conclude everything in the last blog post of 2010.
The beginning of 2010 was when the CES 2010 kicked off with interesting gadgets and there was some hotness for the Intel’s wireless display and push 2 TV, the technology that allows you to beam contents wirelessly from your computer to any HDTV. And a couple of laptops had surfaced that packed the Intel wireless displays.

The launch of Apple iPad – Followed by one of the hottest events of the year, the Apple iPad got officially launched end of January 2010, which then followed by manufacturers in a fierce race of developing and rolling out applications and accessories and cases for the iPad.
Tablet wars – The success of the iPad also triggered wars of tablets and e-book readers. Many Android-based tablets (e.g. Samsung Galaxy tab tablet) and Windows 7-based tablets had surfaced since then.

The launch of Apple iPhone 4 – The middle of 2010 had another big event, i.e. the iPhone 4 launched and followed by unhappiness about its antenna gap, and tons of iPhone 4 cases and accessories claiming to fix the gap. And Apple finally decided to give the iPhone 4 bumper case free to all iPhone 4 owners.
The rise of 3D technology – 2010 is also the year where many manufacturers rolling our their 3D TVs, 3D projectors, 3D cameras and 3D glasses. Manufacturers also completed in developing better glasses-free or naked-eye 3D displays.
Android and WP7 phones – 2010 had also seen a number of Android smart phones, and the roll out of Android OS versions in fast pace by Google. And there are also a number of Windows Phone 7 handsets from LG, Samsung and HTC etc.
