
MSI also has a number of interesting devices to unveil at CES 2011 including the WindPad tablets, 12-inch Wind U270 and 13-inch X370 notebooks. There are two versions of the WindPad tablets, which had some news earlier this year. The Android version, WindPad 100A tablet, comes with various equipments including a digital compass, GPS, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi.
The WindPad 100A tablet measures 14mm thick, is slightly larger than an iPad and about 3mm thicker than the Galaxy Tab tablet. The 100A tablet is powered by the NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 chipset and expected to run Android 3.0 Gingerbread OS.
The Windows-based WindPad 100W tablet will likely based on an Intel Oak Trail chip in the Atom family. It has a 32GB SSD, light sensor, accelerometer and WiFi connectivity.

Along with the tablets, MSI will also unveil the 12-inch Wind U270 and 13-inch X370 notebooks. The U270 notebook will come with impressive battery life, and standard features such as USB 3.0 and Blu-ray drives. More info to be revealed at CES.
There are also some other notebooks in the MSI G-series to be unveiled, including 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch models, based on the Intel’s quad-core mobile Sandy Bridge processors. No information about the pricing and actual release dates for all the MSI devices. CES should have more info.
