
Samsung Suede handset has been launched in the US on Cricket which offers a special mobile plan for this handset that includes unlimited access to voice, Web, text, music (songs, ringtones and ringback tones) and video.
The Samsung Suede handset is the first that’s been launched with the said mobile plan. The handset features a 3-inch touchscreen display, virtual QWERTY keyboard and most importantly it’s equipped with a dedicated Muve Music button that allows Cricket’s customers to have one touch for music download from Cricket’s 3G network.
The Suede’s UI is also loaded with customizable widgets for quick accesses to social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. It also has an HTML web browser for fast downloads of music, video, news content and access to Samsung Widget store and location based services.
Other goodies found on the Samsung Suede handset are SMS, MMS, music player, microSD card slot, accelerometer, 3MP camera and camcorder, 135MB on-board memory and expandable via microSD for up to 16GB.
The Samsung Suede handset will be available at select Cricket Wireless stores beginning in January 2011. The Cricket’s unlimited music plan, Muve Music, costs you only $55 a month while the handset retails for $199 and you’ll not be bound by any contract.
