Leaf Aptus II 12 80-megapixel digital camera priced at $32K


We’ve shown you the Leaf Aptus II 10R, which is a 56-megapixel camera. And now the Leaf Aptus-II has an 80-megapixel model, which is known as Leaf Aptus II 12 and currently considered as the world’s highest resolution one-shot medium format digital camera.

The Leaf Aptus II 12 comes equipped with a powerful full-frame 53.7 x 40.3mm 80-megapixel CCD sensor, a 3.5-inch touchscreen and is priced at a whopping price tag of $32,000 USD.

The 80-megapixel sensor of the Leaf Aptus II 12 allows it to produce an image with a maximum resolution of 10,320 x 7,752 and a size about 480MB.

The camera features the SensorFlex technology which lets user choose to shoot images at full resolution or with a selected aspect ratio such as 1:1 with 60MP resolution. The clip below shows the 80MP camera in action.
