While waiting for the Sony PlayStation phone, there will be Android and iPhone versions of the Sony Playstation applications to be launched for the respective devices soon. The Android or iPhone PlayStation app allows you to check out the trophies on Sony PlayStation network and stay up to date with the latest games (for PS2, PS3 and PSP) and friend’s games etc. You can also share news and links via email, Facebook and Twitter.

The Sony PlayStation app will first be launched for UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and The Netherlands. Sony has not mentioned yet about the exact date but it’s expected to launch in just a few months’ time. The version 1.0 of this PlayStation app will come free. It can be used on iPhone with at least iOS 4 and Android handsets with at least Android 1.6. Future versions will support most SCEE countries and languages.
