Time flies, CES 2011 is near. Good news is NEC is bringing its dual-screen LifeTouch Android tablet to CES 2011. The image shown here is just a mock-up of the tablet. The tablet will use the same screen found on the company’s existing single-screen LifeTouch slate. But instead of a single screen, it packs two 7-inch screens along with Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G connectivity.
The dual screens of this tablet allow you to view different information on each display simultaneously. Currently, it’s unclear if the screens are resistive or capacitive touchscreens and what Android version that tablet will run.
The single-screen LifeTouch tablet is offered through service providers to industries such as healthcare, business, or publishers that need e-readers. It’s not sold to the consumer market directly. But for this dual-screen tablet, there is no indication yet whether it aims at the consumer or vertical market.
