LaCie has added a rugged 2.5-inch hard drive case, called LaCie Tank into its line. The LaCie Tank definitely looks rugged enough from its outer shell and is also rain proof, which should protect a 2.5-inch hard drive well to survive any drops or knocks.
The case is not limited to holding a 2.5-inch HDD, it can hold and protect other portable gadgets including your Nintendo DSi. It comes with internal padding that can be rearranged to suit the device that you want to protect. It’s also IP-63 certified which protects against dust and pouring rain. There is also military grade shock and drop protection and a 1-year warranty.
The LaCie Tank rugged case is now ready for the UK market for £20 or around $32 USD. It’s highly considerable for protecting any portable device you have while you’re on the go.
