
Toshiha has introduced two new models of its netbooks, NB500 and NB520. The two netbooks have been given a dual-core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 processor and they’re capable of handling 720p video.
The NB520 netbook comes with a pair of Harman Kardon speakers which is what is missing on the NB500 model. The pair of speakers is also backed with Dolby Advanced Audio and with an output level of 4 watt.
The two Toshiba netbooks are now available with configurations up to 2GB RAM and 250GB hard drive. They netbooks also pack 3 USB ports, a webcam, WiFi and Ethernet. The NB520 will come with Blue 2.1 support out of the box but it’ll get upgraded to Bluetooth 3.0 through a firmware upgrade.
The netbooks will only be ready for the Europe, Middle East and Asia by year end. There is now word when it’ll be launched in North America.
