It’s the last day of 2010, I’d like to wish all TechChee readers a very Happy New Year 2011 and conclude everything in the last blog post of 2010.
The beginning of 2010 was when the CES 2010 kicked off with interesting gadgets and there was some hotness for the Intel’s wireless display and push 2 TV, the technology that allows you to beam contents wirelessly from your computer to any HDTV. And a couple of laptops had surfaced that packed the Intel wireless displays.

Mitsubishi is to showcase its 3D projector called the Mitsubishi Diamond HC9000 at CES 2011 as well. The Mitsubishi Diamond HC9000 is able to project 3D image at a maximum image size of 100 inches and full HD 10800p quality.

Samsung Mobile Display will show off their next-gen AMOLED displays at CES 2011 next week. One of these AMOLED displays is a 19-inch qFHA transparent AMOLED prototype, which is great for PC monitors and TVs.

iPhonECG case turns the iPhone into a portable ECG so you can measure your heart rate while you’re on the go. The iPhonECG has a pair of electrodes and is able to take your the ECG reading of your heart activities. You can simply hold it in your hands or on your chest for taking the ECG reading, which is then shown on your iPhone that has the ECG app running.

Samsung has announced its latest mirrorless camera, NX11 which comes with iFunction lens compatibility as seen in Samsung NX100. It also offers a 14.6 megapixel CMOS sensor, enhanced grip design, RAW capture and 720p HD video recording capability and some advanced features for advanced users.

Intel has launched a new series of solid state drive, called the Intel SSD 310, which comes in tiny size that is suitable for use in netbbooks, notebooks, tablets and other portable devices. The Intel SSD 310 comes in the size about 1/8th of the size of Intel’s X25 SSDs but offering the same or better performance.

LG has a little smart blackbox called the ST600 smart TV which aims to turn your good old TV into a smarter TV. The ST600 smart TV packs a number of goodies inside including a BCM7615 CPU, 384MB RAM and 1GB flash storage.

An old mini fridge has been modded into a beer firing cannon that is controllable by the iPhone. The guy behind this iPhone-controlled beer cannon is called Ryan. He’s even thinking of selling this beer cannon once he’s achieved the version 2.0.

Cowon has launched a new Android-based PMP called the D3 Plenue in the Korea market. The device runs Android 2.1 OS with a custom UI. It has a 3.7-inch 800×480 AMOLED touchscreen and a built-in T-DMB tuner which allows you to receive digital TV broadcasts.
