Data Robotics were first known for its data automation robot which is generally known as Drobo. Now, they’ve added a new Drobo S system which adopts USB 3.0 technology to allow it to have data transfer speed of up to 10 times faster than the USB 2.0.
The Drobo S system features the BeyondRaid technology which is claimed to provide greater ease of use, data safety, affordability and expandability for organizations which heavily rely on digital data storage but do not have expertise in handling it.
The Drobo S supports multiple storage volumes and capacity up to 32TB. Of course, it’s also backward compatible with USB 2.0 interface. It’ll be available at a base price of $799 with multiple configurations up to $1,799 for a 10TB bundle.
