Recently we’ve seen a number of WP7 smart phones but none of them from Sony Ericsson. So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Sony Ericsson is also prepping some WP7 smart phones. Now with some rumors claiming that Sony Ericsson has two smart phones, known as Xperia X7 and the X7 Mini which are rumored to go for a launch in Q1 2011.
The big Sony Ericsson Xperia 7 will run Windows Phone 7 as the OS. It’ll have a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, and 8-megapixel camera which is good for still images and recording video at 720p HD quality. And it has an HDMI output which allows it to be connected to a larger HD display.
The smaller X7 Mini smartphone is rumored to pack a 1GHz processor, a 3.5-inch WVGA screen, a 10.1 megapixel camera, and 720p HD video recording capability. Currently, all these are just rumors and there is no confirmation from the company yet.
