If you’re the owner of the recently announced Samsung WP7 smart phones, the Samsung Focus or Omnia 7, and you wish to use the phone as a USB 3G modem for your computer, you now have a handful of instructions on how you can get it done.
A number of sites have come up with the steps on how you can get the USB tethering to work on the Samsung Windows Phone 7 smartphones. It involves quite a number of steps – You’ll need to dial up ##634# to get into a diagnostics menu, switch over to a “Modem, Tethered Call” mode and then it’ll restart your phone after a few seconds. Then you’re good to go with a WP7 phone that’s ready to be hooked up to your computer’s USB port for 3G Internet access. Find out more on mobilitydigest
