Another Samsung handset, called the Samsung Zeal, will be coming its way to Verizon tomorrow. The Samsung Zeal is supposed to be the handset that replaces the Samsung Alias 2 but it doesn’t make any much difference in features.
The Samsung Zeal comes in a dual-hinge flip design and has an e-Ink keyboard which provides flexibility allowing its keys to be changed to act as a QWERTY, numeric, or alphanumeric keypad. The handset is also integrated with social networking sites including Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
There are also MS Office Exchange support, VZ Navigator support, Skype mobile, a 2-megapixel auto-focus camera, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. The Samsung Zeal will cost $80 at Verizon after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a new 2-year contract.
