
Sharp has announced a new Blu-ray player known as the Sharp BD-HP90. The main attraction of this new Blue-ray player is it’s one of the slimmest Blu-ray players. It measures only 35mm in thickness which qualifies it to be ranked in the slimmest player list.
The Sharp BD-HP90 Blu-ray player supports all the popular media formats including the Blu-ray 3D. But it doesn’t support the BDXL playback. It also packs a number of connection options including HDMI out, Ethernet, Aquos Famlink and a USB port.
The Sharp BD-HP90 weighs 2.1kg and the entire device measures 430 × 218 × 35mm. It’ll be headed for a release in Japan on November 20 for a price of about $450.
