AUO Optronics is to showcase the world’s largest 3D LCD TV panel which measures 71 inches, along with an interactive 3D touch panel with its associated video games. The AUO’s 71-inch CSHD 3D TV panel offers a wide aspect ratio of 21:9 and it provides good clarity and quality of 3D images.
The 71-inch panel offers a 240Hz double frame rate, LED scanning backlight and optimized parameters for better motion flow. This large panel has a super narrow border that presents the images in even more delightful proportions. To enjoy 3D on this panel, you need to wear polarized 3D glasses, and the 71-inch panel is able to provide lifelike clarity and brightness.
The company also has a smaller sized panel, which measures 65 inches and it’s the 65-inch QFHD 4K2K lenticular lens 3D panel which offers glasses-free 3D viewing. It’s based on its proprietary technology to resolve the problem of uneven brightness found on most 3D TV panels, allowing it to achieve HD resolution. The 65-inch 3D panel packs brightness as high as 500 nits, with eight viewpoints and offers fine image quality for commercial use.
As mentioned, AUO is also to showcase its interactive touch panel, which is a 4 inch 3D interactive touch panel that is suitable for various gadgets including smart phones, video game consoles and PCs. All these interesting 3D panels are to be showcased by AUO at the FPD-International-2010 event in Japan. Find out more about it on oled-display.net
