Habey has introduced a fanless embedded PC, known as Habey WIT-1800. The Habey WIT-1800 offers four min PCIe slots, dual SIM and 3G support. This mini embedded PC is based on the Intel’s power-efficient Atom N450 and D410 processors and the ICH8M chipset.
The four built-in mini PCIe slots and the dual SIM slots of this device, allow it to support up to two 3G mini-PCIe modules; having two 3G wireless connections at the same time as well as other connectivity including WiFi, SSD and other mini PCIe devices.
The Habey WIT-1800 also has a serial port, a couple USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet port, a SATA port, a CF socket and a VGA port that supports a resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels. There are also two SMA sockets for two 3G antennas.
It comes in a form factor pretty much like a router and seems to be a perfect computer for those who need high-speed Internet connections. Currently, no price and availability have been announced so far.
