8pen is an application for your Android 2.2 handset, which allows you to type more easily and faster. The 8pen app replaces the standard on-screen keyboard by a black dot that responds to the user’s finger movement.
The 8pen app does not show you a virtual QWERTY, instead it divides all the letters into four sectors on the screen. So you just need to place your finger in the middle of the screen, and move your finger in a sector and rotate your finger around the black dot to toggle available letters inside that sector.
It’s claimed to allow you to type faster with less errors. It’s meant for your Android phones that run the Android 2.2 Froyo and is available on the Android market at a price of £0.99
