
Flexible AMOLED displays will allow gadgets to take any shapes. Currently, a number of companies are into serious developments of these flexible and super thin AMOLED displays, including HP, LG, TDK and Sony etc.
Most companies have managed to bring their screens down to the thickness of 0.3mm but the Taiwanese company, ITRI has a better achievement which managed to reduce the thickness down to a mere 0.1mm. Although the 0.2mm reduction may not sound a lot to you, but this could possibly make a breakthrough in devices like e-book readers.
