Sony is prepping a high-end DSLR, known as Sony Alpha A77, which uses translucent mirror technology, similar to what’s found on the previous models, Alpha A33 and A55. Currently, the Alpha A77 is still in its prototype stage and Sony aims to ship it sometime in the middle of 2011.

AAA battery-powered e-book readers are kind of rare but they do offer some handiness i.e. when the batteries runs out, you just grab some from any grocery shops nearby and replace the batteries. There is no hassle of having to hook up the e-reader to a power outlet, thus making it more portable.

HP has finally announced its slate tablet, which is called HP Slate 500. The device first had some information unveiled back in January this year but has just got announced now. The HP Slate 500 is powered by an Intel Atom processor and it runs Windows 7 as the OS instead of Android.

Pioneer has added a new Android tablet, known as DreamBook ePad P10 in its line of DreamBook ePad tablets. This new Pioneer tablet is based on a NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform and it boasts a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, which is great for gaming and multimedia.
