A Swiss-based lab EPFL has started a project known as SMAVNET (Swarming Micro Air Vehicle Network), which aims to make use of some flying robots to create ad hoc WiFi networks, which will come in useful as channels of communications during emergency or an aftermath of a natural disaster.

Panasonic is to announce a new cellphone called the Lumix phone at CEATEC in Japan happening next week. Currently, the Panasonic’s Lumix phone remains mysterious and hasn’t got any pictures to show off yet.
