The iOS 4.2 is still in its 3rd BETA stage but it’s been successfully jailbroken by iH8sn0w, who announced it on October 28th with the above picture showing as a proof of the jailbroken iOS 4.2 BETA 3
The next version, the BETA 4 of the iOS 4.2 was first expected to arrive this Tuesday but for some unknown reasons it got postponed. And it’d likely be addressed in the secret Apple event that’s to be held next week. Anyway, we believe that newer version of iOS 4.2 will not stay jailbreak-proof for too long even though a jailbreak tool might not be available for it yet. As the hackers can release a jailbreak tool very soon after a new iOS version made official.
