
Iogear has released its wireless HD computer-to-TV kit which is what you need to wirelessly stream HD video from your computer to your home entertainment center. The Iogear wireless HD computer-to-TV kit consists of a USB transmitter for your computer and a receiver to be attached to your TV or projector via HDMI or VGA.
The pair allows you to transmit 720p HD video from your computer (PC or Mac) to your TV or projector. The system works based on Ultra-WideBand (UWB) wireless USB technology, enabling more stable and more resistant to interferences for wireless HD video streaming.
The Iogear Wireless HD Computer-to-TV kit (model: GUWAVKIT2) provides a full room coverage up to 30 feet via the 3.1GHz to 4.8GHz frequency range. It’s now available for grab at a price of $180.

That’s one awesome device for streaming from computers to an HDTV. If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative though, I got just the device for you. Check out the Netgear Push2TV product. This device makes use of the HDMI port on the HDTV and acts as a wireless adapter, displaying what you see on your computer on to your HDTV. So instead of connecting the computer via an HDMI cable, the Netgear Push2TV takes its place, and wirelessly streams the contents of your computer even if they’re in separate rooms in the house.
