So, the Apple TV managed to get jailbroken by the use of Greenpois0n. And the first custom application – a weather application has also been made working on the Apple TV. This weather app was designed by a small software firm called nitoTV.
This is a good news for software firms as they can start working on their own custom applications for the Apple TV. And of course the best is they do not need to get their applications certified by Apple. It’ll be simply between those software firms and the consumers.
