
Sony Ericsson was said to be prepping a 16.41MP camera sensor for smart phones. And one of their latest smart phones, Sony Ericsson CyberShot S006 phone has also been spotted packing a massive sensor as much as 16.2 megapixels. The CyberShot S006 handset also uses the company’s Exmor R image engine and offers an ISO range of up to 12,800.
The Sony Ericsson CyberShot S006 also packs various goodies including a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, integrated WiFi and a 3.3-inch VGA display. It also has Bluetooth, FM tuner and GPS. The price of this handset is currently unknown. It has been announced for the KDDI in Japan and has no indication when it’ll hit the US or Europe.
