Light Frequency Fingertips capture lights from mobile phones’ screens to make music

As shown are what known as the Light Frequency Fingertips which were created by Austria-based artist Robert Mathy. These Light Frequency Fingertips are actually physical computing interface used to produce music. They can capture the lights emitted by the screens of different mobile phones that will finally form a masterpiece of music?

Basically, the device has four finger caps which each contains a host of light sensitive photo-transistors. The finger caps are specially customized to suit the thumb and forefinger of both hands, which can transform light frequencies into audio signals.

One of the applications of these finger caps is to capture different light frequencies from different mobile phones and some other light-emitting gadgets to generate rhythmic tones – which would come in handy when a musician or composer had run out of ideas or inspirations for creating better music. Anyway, these fingertips are currently just a concept.
