Panasonic is to announce a new cellphone called the Lumix phone at CEATEC in Japan happening next week. Currently, the Panasonic’s Lumix phone remains mysterious and hasn’t got any pictures to show off yet.
Since Lumix has been the name used for Panasonic’s brand of digital cameras, you can also expect the Lumix phone to come packed with some photo-shooting capabilities including a camera with 13-megapixel CMOS sensor.
There is currently very little information about this phone before its actual announcement on October 5th. But it’s still got little to tell here including a 3.3-inch 854×480 LCD screen, Mobile VenusEngine for HD images, the said 13MP camera, microSDHC slot, WiFi and DLNA support. The Lumix phone measures 116×52×17.7mm and weighs 146g.
