Verizon has previously launched a V Cast app store for BlackBerry smart phones, which is an app store to allow BlackBerry users to get apps, as an alternative to the BlackBerry App world. And now they also have the same plan to launch its V Cast app store for Android 2.2-based smart phones.
Verizon has the intention wanting to do better than what the current Android market is doing. Although Android market has tons of apps for Android smart phones but it also contains lots of junks. And the V Cast Apps of Verizon are meant to clean up the junks and allow developers to submit apps for free but will only publish the apps if they meet the guidelines.

Nikon has also announced its latest DSLR, Nikon D7000, which is a mid-class DX format camera that comes in a compact body but packs a number of advanced features. The Samsung NX100 mirrorless camera offers a 14.6 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, a 3-inch AMOLED LCD at 640×480, an ISO range of 100 to 3200 (with a boost mode up to 6400) and the capability of recording video in 720p HD (H.264).
