The Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet has been officially announced but with rumors saying that it’ll be sold with pretty expensive price around £600 to £800 in Europe. But according to Samsung’s product executive Hankil Yoon, the device will be priced at much cheaper price in the US, which will cost you around $200 to $300 only.

The lithium-ion battery systems used in electric vehicles will need special cooling system in order to maintain their performance, reliability and durability. Ford plans to use lithium-ion batteries in their new batches of EVs. But in order to keep the battery systems at good performance, reliable and durable at extreme temperature, Ford has a better way to do that i.e. to use cooled or heated liquid to regulate the battery temperature, which should extend the battery life and maximize driving range.

Philips has released its new 3D Cinema TV which comes with a pretty unique aspect ratio of 21:9. The Philips Cinema TV offers full HD 3D capabilities and the display is an extra-wide 58-inch, which is a direct-lid LED display that uses 400Hz picture processing and the Philips’ Ambilight technology to light up the wall behind the TV.

The official specs of the tablet tell that it’s equipped with a 7-inch 1024×600 screen, powered by a Cortex A8 1GHz processor, has 16GB internal memory and is expandable via microSD slot for up to 32GB.

IFA has lots of 3D-capable gadgets to show. One of them shown by Sharp was a 3D cellphone that is able to capture 3D images using the phone’s camera. Some more the Sharp phone doesn’t need you to wear 3D glasses while watching 3D images or videos on the phone’s 3-inch screen.
