
LG has announced its first 3D-THX certified TV, PX950 with a price tag of $1,999. A price that isn’t too expensive while considering the LG PX950 as the first 3D Plasma TV that has got the 3D THX certification.
The 50-inch version of the LG PX950 is priced at the mentioned $1,999. They also have a 60-inch version which costs an additional of $1,000, priced at $2,999. The LG PX950 is a solid TV as it’s passed rigorous tests set by the THX and 3D THX standards, including tests for its color, sound, video quality and HD resolution.
It’s also said to have the highest mark to reduce blurry “cross talk” problems in 3D as well as perfect functioning for multiple viewing angles. The LG TV also offers 2D-to-3D conversion and is able to hook up to various Internet TV services including YouTube, Netflix, Vudu, and Yahoo’s suite of TV widgets. It’ll be available in the coming months.
