The AlessiTab Android-based tablet that was announced in April, is now set to be headed to Italy this November with a price of 399 Euros (about $535) – a price that is apparently higher than the previously announced $400 USD.
The AlessiTab is an L-shaped tablet with 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen and packs a 1GB storage, DVB-T digital TV tuner, WiFi b/g and HDMI output. It also comes preloaded with various widgets to let you stay connected with news, weather and recipes etc. It’ll also work as a digital photo frame, and an Internet radio.
The device has almost everything you need to keep you entertained at home. Other goodies include IPTV support, video and audio playback, a webcam, microphone and speakers that let you use it as a videophone. It also offers USB and SD card slot and is slated to reach Italy in November for a higher price of 399 Euros.
