
Samsung has announced its first LTE 4G smartphone for the MetroPCS, which is known as Samsung Craft or SCH-r900. The handset comes with the 4G LTE network support as well as multimode and CDMA networks, which allows you to have higher data transfer rates than your 3G smart phones.
The Samsung Craft packs a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of WVGA, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofucus, panorama and mosaic shots. It also has Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi, a full HTML browser, an internal memory of 165MB and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB.
The Samsung Craft works on the frequency bands of CDMA2000 1X, CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev. 0, LTE, AWS band 1700/2100MHz. The users in Las Vegas can now subscribe with the LTE 4G service with a monthly fee of $55 and the handset supplied by Samsung Mobile USA.
The Craft is priced at $299 after an instant rebate. It also comes bundled with a 2GB microSD card and preloaded with the Paramount Pictures’ Star Trek. It has a 1500mAh battery that provides up to 6 hours of talk time.
