Casio has had a couple of announcements lately. Besides the entry-level Exilim cam, Casio has also outed its first hybrid GPS digital camera, Casio Exilim EX-H20G which packs the specialty of allowing you to geotag your photos for both outdoors and indoors.
You should be familiar with the outdoor geo-tagging of your photos, which you’re able to tag your photos with the location that you’re at. But the indoor tagging is something new, which allows you to sit quietly indoor and tag your photos. You can view a map on the camera’s screen that shows your current location and the geotagged photos and videos.
The Exilim EX-H20G is also preloaded with a huge databank that contains 10,000 sightseeing photo spots around the world, so once you’re in the vicinity of one of the photo spots, the camera will alert you.
Besides the geotagging features, the Exilim EX-H20G has a 24mm wide-angle 10x optical zoom lens with 15x zoom range, 14.1 megapixel sensor, the capability of recording 720p HD video at 30fps and a high-res 460K super clear LCD etc. It’ll be available for a price of $350 sometime in November.
