Pentax wants to make its Optio NB1000 camera to be different from others by equipping the camera’s front panel with a Lego board. The idea is to allow you to be able to stick anything on the camera’s front panel.

The Pentax Optio NB1000 has a 14.1 megapixel sensor, 4x optical Zoom and capability of recording video in 720p HD quality. The Lego board of the Pentax camera actually uses the Nanoblocks from Japan’s DiaBlock, which isn’t exactly Lego but the idea is the same as Lego’s; so you can attach some building bricks on it to create something that suits your mood or add extra grip for your hands.
The Pentax’s Legofied camera comes in two colors, a monochromatic white or safari green. It’ll be priced around $240 and ready to release later this year.
