Panasonic has announced a new Micro Four Third HD camcorder which is known as AF105 (AF100 in Europe). The AF105 is the world’s first camcorder that offers a Four-Thirds sized sensor and the capabilities of recording AVCHD video in 1080/60i or 1080/30p.
The AF105 supports interchangeable lens and you have a wide range of selection from the company’s Micro Four Thirds lens or other standard lenses for DSLRs. It can also accept memory cards including SD, SDHC and SDXC cards. Cinema lens can also be used on the AF105 camcorder via an adapter. Such a powerful camcorder doesn’t come cheap, it’ll be priced around $9,960 and launched sometime in December.
