Mitsubishi has got some 100-inch or above Diamond Vision OLED displays which are ready to rock the market starting on September 21st. The Diamond Vision OLED displays were announced as early as in October 2009, which are modular displays that are suitable for indoor use.
Each module comes in dimensions of 234mm x 234mm and has a resolution of 128×128. So you can have many of the modules to make up a large display for use in commercial centers or some public places. Each pixel has a size of 3mm which needs you to view it from at least two meters away.
The Mitsubishi Diamon Vision OLED display offers good brightness (1,200cd/m²) and contrast (twice as much as LED). Suitable places to have the Mitsubishi’s OLED displays are airports or stations, for showing some flight and train schedules and commercials.
These OLED displays were jointly developed by Mitsubishi and Panasonic. Currently, there is no mention about their prices but expected to come in huge price tags.
