
The dual-screen Kno tablet has got some words that it’ll be coming its way by year’s end. Kno has received as much as $46m investment and will go for a launch of this tablet by end of 2010.
The Kno tablet has two 14.4-inch capacitive IPS screens which make it quite a large tablet to handle. It uses the Tegra 2 Chip and has 16GB storage and the company claims that it’s the most powerful tablet to date.
According to the company’s CEO Osman Rashid, the Kno tablet will not come too expensive, expected to be priced below $1,000. And the company has plan to target at college students which will also offer college textbooks through an online store.
Some more the Kno tablet will allow students to draw on the pages and take notes like what most e-readers can do. If dual-screen tablet is a better choice, the Kno is the only known and more promising after Microsoft has trashed its Courier tablet.
