Doctor Who fans will get to play the Nintendo’s title, Doctor Who: Return To Earth, with a new game controller, called the Sonic Screwdriver Wiimote. This new Wiimote has been designed like a light saber handle and slated to be released before Christmas this year.
The Sonic Screwdriver Wiimote will also be available as an accessory for the Nintendo Wii. There will also be a version based on the Nintendo DS Stylus for the Doctor Who: Evacuation Earth game, which is to be released for Nintendo DS. Both new Doctor Who game and the new Sonic Screwdriver controller will be released at the same time. Pricing and exact launch date are not known yet.
