Motorola is prepping an Android slider QWERTY phone, called the Motorola XT300. This slider phone has had some pictures posted on a Chinese forum. The Motor XT300 runs Android 2.1 OS and has a full slider QWERTY that makes it suitable for heavy texters.
The XT300 also shows some similarities in form factor, to Palm Pre and Palm Pre Plus, which have rounded edges and with a QWERTY keyboard that slides downwards vertically instead of sliding horizontally.
The Moto XT300 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7X25 processor and equipped with a 2.8-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 240×320. Other goodies include a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a touchpad located at the back of the phone. The phone also presents the user with the Moto’s own MotoBlur UI for ease of navigation and access of applications.
