Panasonic’s Toughbook series is filled with several rugged laptops and tablets that are meant for industrial use. They’ve also recently added a new notebook called the Toughbook S9 in this rugged series. The Panasonic Toughbook S9 is dubbed as the world’s lightest and ruggedest 12.1-inch notebook that comes with built-in DVD drive and weighs exactly 3 lbs or 1.4kg.

SSD is super fast in read and write speeds. But the downside with most SSDs is they use a SATA interface that will impose some limitations to its bandwidth. Now, OCZ has announced its IBIS SSD, which uses its proprietary HSDL interface to bypass the bandwidth limitation of SATA interface and allows it to achieve a total bandwidth of 2GBps (1 Gigabyte up and 1 Gigabyte down per second).

There are currently two form factors for the Windows Phone 7-powered smart phones, which are classified as Chassis 1 and Chassis 2. The Chassis 1 is the kind of device like the LG C900 or GW910 which has a 800×480 screen with an optional slide-out keyboard.
And the Chassis 2 is now reportedly to show resemblance to a BlackBerry device or Nokia E series smart phones, which has a 480 x 320 screen and leave room for a physical QWERTY on the front of the device.
Microsoft also has expectation at launch, that most WP7 smartphones will come with majority of the Chassis 1 with large touchscreen. While the Chassis 2, BlackBerry-like will be coming later. Chassis 2 WP7 will also come in the form of packing sliding QWERTY plus touch, which will be more Palm-Treo-like.

The Apple TV has just been announced and confirmed to run the iOS 4.1. But unfortunately, the Apple TV has not even begun its shipping yet but is already jailbroken by the iPhone Dev Team using their new SHatter tool.
Apple has not yet announced any app for the Apple TV. But since it’s now jailbreakable, it’ll let jailbreakers to easily get any 3rd-party apps on it faster than Apple does. The first Apple TVs are to arrive before Friday.
