
ViewSonic has announced its 7-inch Anndroid tablet, called the ViewPad 7, which is the first 7-inch Android 2.2 tablet with phone functionality. This device has multi-tasking capabilities and is equipped with front and back-facing cameras.
The ViewPad 7 is good for almost everything including computing, web browsing, video chatting and even phone calling – something that is not found on other Android tablets. The ViewPad 7 is also equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, USB and a full-size SIM card slot.
Other goodies include the 7-inch LED multi-touch display, micro SD card slot with support up to 32GB, 3-megapixel front camera, VGA back camera and the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The ViewPad 7 will be priced at $540.
