
Toshiba is also prepping an Android tablet in its line. Called the Toshiba Folio 100 Tablet, the device has now more details about its specs. It’s a tablet that packs a 10.1-inch 1024×600 multi-touch display, and is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip for better graphics.
The Folio 100 has an internal storage of 16GB, expandable via SDHC memory card (up to 32GB) and supports Bluetooth, 3G and WiFi (b/g/n) connectivity. This tablet will roll out with Android 2.2 OS. It’ll also pack a 1020mAh battery that provides up to 7 hours of usage.
Other goodies include a 1.3-megapixel webcam, two 0.5-watt speakers, HDMI, USB 2.0, USB 2.0 mini and audio jack ports. The Toshiba tablet comes in dimensions of 281x181x14mm, and weighs 760 grams. It’ll also come included with a docking station that will ease landscape reading, browsing and video watching etc. It’ll be loaded with Opera Mobile web browser and support Adobe Fash. Currently, there is no indication about its price.
