Digital Cowboy has announced its latest network attached storage device, called the Xtreamer Pro NAS. The device packs the capabilities of streaming a massive list of media types in SD or HD format, including Mpeg, DivX, Xvid, MKV, DVD, DAT, ASF, Mov, RMVB, FLV, WMV9 etc.
The Xtreamer Pro NAS has HDMI port, allows direct connection to your HDTV. It packs dual 3.5-inch HDD and supports DLNA. It also has a new interface which lets you access the media stored on the device or easily navigate through it using the included remote control. The Xtreamer Pro NAS will be out in Japan sometime next month for a price ¥22,000, or about $260.
