Android tablets are still hot these days. Other than those we already know, Stream TV networks is also prepping an Android tablet called the eLocity A7, which will appear on Amazon sometime in September.
The eLocity A7 tablet will be priced around $400. With this price tag, you’ll get pretty impressive specs including a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels; high quality graphics powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset, an accelerometer and USB. The tablet runs Android 2.2 OS and also has HDMI ports, which allow you to hook it up to an HDTV for the playback of full HD video.

Rumor has it this should be ready for the market by September 3, although I am already seeing a buzz on the internet that Stream TV may not be able to handle the sales avalanche they are expecting. With a price half that of a high-end iPad, I think these are going to be a hot commodity in the student community. For more on the Stream TV eLocity A7 check out my blog, comments are welcome!
