
PocketBook is readying five new models of its e-book readers to be released at IFA in September. There will be two entry-level models, ProBook 602 and 902, and two premium units, ProBook 603 and 903 and an entertainment model, IQ in its release.
The PocketBook 60x e-readers will come with a screen size of 6 inches while the 90x will have bigger screen of 9.7 inches. All models will have an internal storage of 2GB, support Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and be based on Linux. The higher-end models will also have 3G connectivity and be equipped with a Wacom touchscreen.
The “entertainment model”, PocketBook IQ will be available in three case color options. And it has a 7-inch TFT color touchscreen, Bluetooth, WiFi and will run Android 2.0 OS. All these PocketBook e-readers will be able to access the PocketBook’s own Bookland.net e-book store. More details will be unveiled at IFA.
