Samsung wants you to stay up to par with super high speeds of data transfer, by having announced its S2 USB 3.0 portable hard drive. USB 3.0 ports are not yet so common on today’s laptop or desktop computers. But since Samsung has also stepped into making USB 3.0 devices, the technology will soon become common in our computers with more affordable prices.
The portable Samsung S2 HDD has a 7,200 RPM 2.5-inch hard drive in it. It offers USB 3.0 connectivity to allow you to transfer data at the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to and from your computer. The device is also equipped with technology that keeps it quiet. It’ll be available in two capacities which are 320GB and 640GB, included with backup software and out in Europe sometime this month, but the price is still unknown.
