A new Biometric security app is on its way that will allow you to unlock your Android handset using your face. Called the BioLock, is an Android app being developed by Blue Planet Apps which will come facial recognition and iris scanning capabilities.
If you store some private and confidential data on your Android handset, the BioLock is definitely useful for you, which only allows your face to unlock and access the data. The app makes use of the handset’s camera to capture your face. And it’s even able to identify if someone tries to fake your face by holding up a picture of your face in front of the phone’s camera.
The BioLock app will be ready for its beta version in the next few weeks and should see its actual release shortly after. It’ll most likely be priced at $2.99.
