Asus have announced their latest B-series laptops, which come with the Boston-Power’s Sonata batteries – the kind of game-changing lithium-ion batteries that provide triple the lifespan of standard notebook batteries. And with the Sonata batteries, Asus is also able to provide up to 3-year warranty for the batteries on the B-series laptops.
Two models have been announced for the Asus B-series, which are B43 and B53 and having screen sizes of 14.1 and 15.6 inches respectively. The two B-series laptops also offer you a choice of processors of Core i5 or Core i7, ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 or integrated Intel graphics, 2GB or 4GB RAM, a 320GB HDD and the ATI Eyefinity that allows you to connect up to two additional displays.
The B53 will be ready for the retailers immediately for a price of $1,099. While the B43 is only currently known to be coming in the near future with an unknown price tag. Read more about it on Engadget.
