Motorola is rumored to be prepping a 10-inch Android tablet that will most likely run the Android 3.0 or Gingerbread. And it’ll also come with the capability of tuning into the Verizon FiOS TV service.
It’s very likely that the user needs to be a Verizon FiOS subscriber in order to receive the digital TV signal on the Motorola 10-inch tablet. Currently, it’s just a rumor. Chances are the device will pack the mentioned 10-inch screen and some common specs including a 1 GHz processor, a camera, Bluetooth, WiFi and a few USB ports.
It’ll also have the NVIDIA Tegra2 processor. With the new interface on the Android 3.0 or Gingerbread, the rumored Moto tablet will be great for streaming music and video. And some more the digital TV tuning capability definitely makes it stand out in the fierce competition of tablets from iPad, Microsoft and many others. If this is real, the Moto Android tablet will likely be made available after the launch of Android 3.0 sometime in October.
