
RIM has announced its latest smart phone called the BlackBerry Torch 9800, which will be available on AT&T. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 smart phone will run the latest BlackBerry OS 6, that will present a new home screen, a universal search and tabbed browsing. And it’s also integrated with various social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace etc.

The Blackberry Torch 9800 has a 3.2 inch touchscreen display that boasts a resolution of 480×360. It has a slide-out QWERTY, a 5-megapixel camera with built-in flash and wireless connectivity via WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The device is also packed with 512MB RAM, 512MB flash, 4GB flash storage and a microSD card slot that comes with a 4GB memory card. It also has a a 1300mAh battery.
The Torch 9800 is expected to launch in the US on August 12 and is then followed by International launches.
