Samsung has also announced their Fixed Mobile Convergence-enabled mobile phone in the Korea market. Called the Samsung A130, the handset comes in a clamshell form factor. It uses Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) technology to allow the users to make cheaper phone calls via WiFi while they’re in a hotspot. The handset also has a dedicated button that makes it easy to initiate a connection to a WiFi network.

Lenovo has announced a new all-in-one desktop for the Japan market. Called the IdeaCentre A310, the computer comes with a nice large 21.5-inch LCD that boasts an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (full HD). The A310 is ultra thin that measures only 18.5mm in thickness.

iCub aircraft from SportairUSA has made it possible for an iPad to be used in the cockpit for navigation and receiving real-time weather info etc. The iCub aircraft belongs to the Light Sport Aircraft category, which is actually a fun-to-fly airplane instead of a serious aircraft. So, it’s possible to use a cheaper device like iPad instead of the costly FAA-approved GPS device.
